View your alert notifications
My AcuRite continuously monitors your AcuRite devices and sensor readings. When a condition set in an Alert Rule has been reached, an alert notification is automatically activated. Alert notifications are generated for both Custom Alerts and System Alerts.
My AcuRite monitors each reading at the time it's uploaded by a Connection Device. It may take up to an additional 5 minutes from the time a reading is uploaded to My AcuRite for an alert notification to be generated.
The frequency readings are sent (uploaded) to My AcuRite is dependent upon the AcuRite Connection Device's upload frequency.
You can display active Alert Notifications grouped by Device, Condition or Date, and also dismiss a single notification or a group of notifications.
How to view your alert notifications
- From the tab / navigation bar, tap
(Alerts menu). If an alert notification has not been viewed or dismissed, the alert menu icon appears red in color.
Your alert notifications are displayed.
Custom Alerts - the alert notifications generated by a Custom Alert. The condition, location, and reading resulting in the alert is displayed.
System Alerts - the alert notifications generated by a System Alert. The condition and recommendation action is displayed.
You can also view alert notifications grouped by Device (default group), Condition, or Date.
- Tap the top area (Devices displayed by default) > tap a group option - Device, Conditions, or Date > tap Done. Your alert notifications are displayed in the group option selected.
If you no longer want a single notification or a group of notifications to be displayed in your Alerts, you can dismiss a single notification or a group of alert notifications.
If an alerting condition has returned to its expected normal condition, the alert notification is not removed from your Alerts menu. To remove a notification from your Alerts, you will need to dismiss the alert notification.
