Follow a My AcuRite account

Following allows you to view your family and friends My AcuRite sensor readings from your My AcuRite account. When you follow a My AcuRite account, the AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect) you are following and its sensor readings appear as a tab on your Dashboard.

Your friends and family must enable sharing on the AcuRite Connection Device they want to share with you and provide you the 12-character Device ID of the AcuRite Connection device.

TIP

If you no longer want to follow an account, simply remove it from your Accounts I Follow profile.

How to follow a My AcuRite account

  1. From the tab / navigation bar, tap (Settings menu).
  2. Tap Share Weather.
  3. Tap Follow.
  4. Enter the Display Name - name appears as a tab on your Dashboard.
  5. Enter Device ID - the first 6 characters are displayed by default, enter the last 6 characters only of the AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect) you want to follow.
  6. Tap Follow.

    7. The AcuRite Connection Device is listed as a tab on your Dashboard. It's also listed in your Accounts I Follow profile.

    The account sharing their device with you can see that you are following them from their Accounts Following Me profile.
