Add an AcuRite Connection Device

To monitor and view your AcuRite sensor readings from My AcuRite, your AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect) must be added to your account. Once added, you can then add your AcuRite sensors to the Connection Device - allowing the sensor readings to be sent your My AcuRite account and viewed from the Dashboard tab of the Connection Device.

Before you begin

New AcuRite Connection Device - be sure it's powered on and connected to your network (internet) router. At minimum, be sure there is one AcuRite sensor in wireless range of the Connection Device.

PC Connect - verify the Indoor Display is connected to your computer, the computer is on and has an internet connection, and My AcuRite Sharing is enabled from the PC Connect software.

How to add a Connection Device to your account

  1. From the top menu, select Settings > Devices.
  2. Select + Add.
  3. You are guided through a 4-step wizard - select Next to continue through each step.

    4. Device Name - the name of the AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect) - the name appears as a tab on your Dashboard.

    Device ID - an AcuRite Connection Device is associated to your My AcuRite account by its unique 12-character Device ID. When you add a device to your account, you must provide its Device ID.

    Postal Code - the postal code installation location of the AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect). The postal code is used to generate the location details and the current weather conditions and forecast displayed on the Connection Device's Dashboard tab.

    Address - the address installation location of the AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect). Provide address details to receive more accurate current weather conditions and forecast information.

    Use this as my profile address - be sure to select this option if your AcuRite Connection Device (AcuRite Access, smartHUB, PC Connect) address installation location is the same as your My AcuRite account address.

    Barometric Pressure Settings - sets how pressure readings are displayed in your account. An AcuRite Connection Device has an internal barometer.

  4. Select Save Device.

Next, be sure to add your AcuRite sensors to the device. Once added, the sensor readings are sent to your My AcuRite account.
