My PC Connect readings are not being sent to My AcuRite

If the readings of a 5-in-1 Weather Station received by PC Connect are not being sent to your My AcuRite account, there are several causes that may result in data sharing being interrupted with use of the PC Connect software and the Indoor Display for a single 5-in-1 Weather Station.

NOTE

Using the PC Connect software installed on your computer and the USB connection between your computer and the Indoor Display, the readings are sent over your computer's network (internet) connection to your My AcuRite account. Using PC Connect as a Connection Device, its associated to your My AcuRite account by the Indoor Display's unique 12-character Device ID.

Possible solutions

  • Verify the 5-in-1 Outdoor Device is in wireless range of the Indoor Display. A sensor must be located no more than 330 feet (100 meters) from the AcuRite Connection Device.
  • Verify the USB connection between the Indoor Display and your computer is secure.
  • Verify the PC Connect software is open and Sharing to My AcuRite is set up and enabled. The software must be open to allow sensor readings to be sent to your My AcuRite account.
  • Verify the 12-character Device ID entered in the PC Connect software is the same as the Device ID printed on the sticker that is located on the back of the Indoor Display.
  • Verify your computer has an always on internet connection.
